Headshots for Business, Headshots for the Arts and Headshots for Authors
What type of headshot are you looking for?
Whether I am photographing a headshot for business, a book, or the performing arts, my goal is the same: I want the personality of my subject to shine through the portrait. Although mostly limited to a head-and-shoulders view, successful headshots need to tell a story though the eyes of the subject. Like it or not, people judge you by your photo. This is truly a moment to put your best face forward. During a session I often tell people to "smile with your eyes," and to think of their best client, favorite family member or pet. In the case of an actor, I guide them to play different roles in their head to access different expressions. The life that glows behind your eyes is how you will best communicate with clients, colleagues and agents.
