Family Portraits
I photograph families in their homes, in my studio, or in an outdoor location that we determine together. Before the session I want to hear about what your family is like, what you'd like to convey in your portrait, and where your finished pieces will hang or be displayed. When possible I enjoy mixing candid and posed images in the same session. This may mean a walk in the park with your children, followed by some posed photographs. Some families want me to come to their homes and follow them around for a few hours, capturing the special moments in their lives. (These are called Day in the Life photography sessions.) Others prefer a studio session with a simple backdrop, which gives a subtle insight into the family relationship.
After your photography session, you will see your images in a full-screen slideshow in my studio. This is when your order will be made, and when we will discuss display options. These include simple prints, custom framed pieces, leather folios and canvas gallery wraps. All ordered images are artfully retouched.
